I'm on the opposite end of this. Seems every time I reach out about an item I'm either ghosted, or the person sold it ten weeks ago and couldn't be fucked to take it down. I think people are just inept in general, as several years in Customer Service revealed to me long ago. I watch people whip left turns onto busy streets without so much as looking nearly every single day. The general populace is pretty low-functioning, and they're out there raising kids and making important decisions.

I've made the book mistake a couple of times. When I immigrated to a new country, I had brought along several small carvings and ornaments that I liked to display on my shelves. Each was wrapped carefully in newspaper, but the TSA was not a big fan of that. Went through security at two different airports and had to stand there awkwardly while an agent unwrapped every last item and nodded in amusement over the peculiarness of each one.

Funny enough, I would bring bottles of assorted (mostly non-prescription) pills on each trip and they never batted so much as an eye at those. Could have easily been smuggling in MDMA for the better part of a decade.

Maybe we exert some kind of stressed or nervous behavior that is considered by TSA to be a potential red flag? Other than the weight-loss, the only thing I can think of that changed is perhaps my overall experience traveling finally chilled me out a bit and altered the way I carried myself.

The first several times I flew, which wound up being maybe forty total flights by the time I concluded my long-distance relationship in marriage, I would be "randomly selected" for secondary screenings, bag checks, and finger-tip swabs. Every single time. This eventually stopped happening, but the only thing that really changed was I lost a bunch of weight. I don't know what the connection was.

Time to post another video in a shadowy room full of leather and stank. Better pop that shirt off.

What did you think of the changes between Paint XP and modern versions? I used to adore Paint XP, but brush smoothing (though toggleable) and a clunky interface really spoiled the newer versions for me, and I don't enjoy using them as much. I think I just became so used to the primitive way of drawing well in the old versions that it sort of became it's own art form. Now they there are more advanced tools and so many required extra clicks, it feels like baggage. In the words of Karl Havoc, "THERE'S TOO MUCH FUCKIN' SHIT ON ME!"

I feel like Elon Musk is of the same mindset I was on during my adolescent years cyber-sexing on mIRC. Surely adding an X at the end of my handle makes me sound way cooler than I am.

Yes, the horseshit setups I open my computer to that make it difficult to navigate out of are completely unintentional.

"DON'T YOU FUCKING RUIN THIS FOR ME!"

My dad died suddenly two months ago and this pic caused a flooding of memories of his old route to work, reminiscent of this place here. I had completely forgotten about it. This random photo provided some long-overdue emotional release. Not a great way to get ready for work at 4am, but very much needed.
