Maybe due to a rise in artificial insemination - women being able to become mothers without a partner and men obviously cannot do the same?

There have been a lot of changes that can be the potential cause(s) of worsening mental health amongst the population, most prevalent in our young. Substance use and abuse is more of a symptom in my opinion.
Life post Covid has been more stressful for most. Increase of pollutants, microplastics. More radiation from cellphone towers, devices, screen time, social media and AI influence of online. Weakened communities and social bonds.
