Proof of concept for allowing super users to have a patreon model maybe?

Though I can't remember the last time there were site wide famous users. Last I remember is that bird lady.

If this is their endgame the bot problem would get even worse as the value proposition improves for abusers

Since project 2025 violates their community guidelines he is in breach of his employment agreement and should be fired, right Meta?

As someone who worked there, this is a crock. Low level employees would be fired for this. The longer he stays at Meta the more it confirms their true intentions.

Everyone has access to the community guidelines which may appear to be very even keeled and appropriate. As someone that's been on the inside, if you look at their enforcement guidelines, it's a different story entirely. The amount of tolerance they have for hate speech is remarkable.

As someone who works in Trust & Safety I had the same thought. Desensitizing people to terms is important for defending vitriolic rhetoric.

Biden SLAMS Trump over Ukraine! Macron claps back! I was actually just thinking about the phrases that must have been used in journalism for the turn of the century that were considered to be equal to this low quality journalism

Yeah it has been nice. I definitely miss out on some news, but it's worth it to avoid a lot of the other content there. I pop in with redreader every so often, but honestly it doesn't seem worth it to ever fully go back.

Especially since there are services like Thorne that would help you manage it. Also this is a direct result of gutting trust and safety teams.

Have a ceramic pan dedicated for sticky stuff that doesn't need to be cooked too hot. Ceramic that is not used on high heat lasts a long time. Obviously with wood of silicone utensils.

Oh that sucks, can you turn it off or spoof the location?

Congratulations! Do you find people point out you have gaps in "common" knowledge?

Anthony Bourdain.

Yeah, this is really serious. I hope people don't construe this to be an absurd example of over litigation, while it is a completely reasonable case. Kind of like the McDonald's coffee lady getting clowned on when she is a genuine victim.

If they kick me off the account I am on I will finally be free of falling in love with a series just for them to cancel it after 1 amazing season.

People talk shit about other streamers, but Netflix is by far the worst for this

As a matter of personal preference I am a fan of a quick tap or a swipe to collapse. I don't enjoy the long hold to collapse/un-collapse.
