Another vote for the 85mm. 35/85 is a classic combo. I currently walk around with two bodies, 28 and 85.

I was very close to picking one up, but decided against it last minute, because I read about their quality control issues. I was burned by another microbrand in a similar price range, and didn’t want to take another chance with the luck of the draw.
