I drove a Ford Edge recently as a rental and Holy fuck it was the worst driving experience I've had in a vehicle.

And it has a massive touch screen that was a pain in the ass to operate in lieu of physical controls. Had to fumble around a touch screen to change the climate controls, not great on a highway!

Every SUV needs to be melted into scrap.

Oh like in the venture bros

I'm a bi guy and I've never used LGBTQ2IA+ in my life. But I like it when the government does. I like to see them falling over themselves trying to be inclusive. Struggle, bitch, it's about time something was even a tiny bit difficult for those fucks.

I don't think OP needs to do the same, though. Queer community, gay community, LGBT, that all seems fine to me.

I largely say queers, queer folk, queer people when talking with other queer people. Or sometimes even just gay. Like "Hey, are we gonna be the only gays at the event?" But I use LGBT when trying to communicate to a broader group of people, such as saying "This event is LGBT friendly".

Your milage may vary, but I haven't been accused of excluding anyone.

As someone who's had to rely on tips to keep a roof over my head and food in my stomach, I'd rather you tell me you're an asshole honestly by not tipping than deceive me otherwise by giving me trash I'll have to throw out.

I'm gonna find out either way.

Oh like not making an Xbox console anymore?

Wouldn't that be a good thing? More access to different titles? Usually the 'see you and hear you' line is used when a company gets caught doing vile shit and wants to pretend they care

What's this in response to?

[–] TheAlbatross@lemmy.blahaj.zone 5 points 9 months ago

Not really news as much as it is an ad trying to make people think about burritos and Chipotle in preparation to try and boost profits in the spring innit

[–] TheAlbatross@lemmy.blahaj.zone 19 points 9 months ago

Yo a bit late, this has already been discredited by Hasbro

Converting to Judaism isn't as simple as it is to convert to Christianity.

It will take years of study and effort.

That aside, the govt of Israel will not "offer" you a chance for a Birthright trip. You have to apply for it and demonstrate you meet the requirements. I don't see why you wouldn't qualify, but the Israeli govt is rather close minded about these things. (EDIT: Someone else in the thread has said Birthright Israel accepts converts explicitly, so you should be good here)

THAT aside, don't go to Israel, don't give them any money. What they're doing right now is absolutely monstrous and it's morally inexcusable to support them.
