He won't get rid of musk as easily as he did bannon. He's already into pretty much everything. trump is chained to musk now, and so is the entire country.

Wonder how president musk feels about that. 🤔

It's like they created a monster and set it loose thinking they could control it, but turns out they can't, because it's a monster. Nobody could have seen that coming...

So, all the things they already said before the election in which a significant portion of Americans voted for him because of economic and totally not bigotry related reasons?

Of course it's a bad idea, they should just give that money directly to billionaires like they've always done.

But seriously, as I've often explained to my wife, it makes no sense to put a thousand dollars into our savings account to earn 5% while we owe a thousand on our credit card being charged at 20%.

Everyone knows a US sovereign savings account is just going to become another place for congress to steal money from.

Agree with your comment, OP. The entire internet seems to be filled with people engaging the fascists and trump sycophants, trying to force them to admit the hypocrisies and inconsistencies in their positions, but it's pointless. These people don't deserve that much credit or respect. Ignorance is an explanation at best, not an excuse. Anyone who voted trump in 24 is beyond redemption, no matter how much they change their tune when the harm they voted for comes to them.

That would make me no more sympathetic to him and no less loathing of her.

Right after he spoke up against trump and voted against hegseth? Weird. 🤔

Who else is shocked? Anyone?

That's why trump and maga have so much faith in him.

Nowhere near enough people understand this. Challenging these things in court isn't going to matter when the courts are all shut down. The DOJ has already advised that he can ignore court injunctions. The US government is being rapidly dismantled. The rule of law no longer exists.
