Yea there’s no other explanation. He literally LOVES both those things. And nothing outside of becoming a political figure prevents him from continuing to be on TV and be a primary professional sports owner. And he’s gonna fund his own way.

He’s got my vote 😂

This was more about the Maves than the Clippers if we’re being honest.

This is exactly why you can’t consider someone who had the advantage of a full year as a pro as a rookie.

For what it’s worth, and at a much much lower level… here’s a couple stories.

The absolute hands down best basketball player in my home town in 8th grade flat refused to play ball anymore in HS. Didn’t have crazy parents or anything. Just didn’t like basketball. Dude did 2 years of PE and that was that athletically. Stuck with academics. He was getting D1 traction in 7th and 8th grade on the Compton Magic.

The same town, different schools, where I coached for 11 years…. The most skilled, talented, and athletic kid I ever coached hated basketball. Turned down multiple low level D1 offers. Just wanted to play basketball with his friend ls in HS. Was first team all league and avg 17 pts, 6 ast, and 10 boards a game.

So, it happens. But certainly don’t expect people like that to be the best damn player in the world lol.
