It was one thing to draft Blake and trade for CP3, but Doc was the first real massive get who wanted to come to the Clippers.
People are memeing his last few years there, and OP may just be memeing as well, but Doc's failure with the clippers has really overshadowed just how huge getting Doc was his first few years there. From 2010 to 2013 the Clippers went from a legitimate joke franchise with a history with less success than the current Hornets, to a destination franchise that had a stacked top 2 and legitimate coach who were primed to compete for years.
I 100% support Lebron resting so I'm not saying this to shit on him but Lebron has missed 20+ games in each of the last 4 seasons. It's specifically part of why he's still able to play at such a high level when he feels fully healthy and ready to go.
