Well, he's a Niners fan, so I can't fault him for not knowing how fandom works.
Fining people for pretending to drink beer, fining people for pretending to gamble. Those are the cornerstones of football making money. The next logical conclusion is fining people for celebrations that pretend to play football.
Now it sounds like it'll be Bagent. A little surprising, seeing how well Keenum played, but it makes sense to go with the younger guy, see what you've got.
Okay, I get that there are injuries every year, and recency bias is strong, but goddamn. There have been so many injuries this year.
Potential downside to that is that you're at least partially reliant on other people. I had a gym buddy back in the day. We'd go M/W/F like clockwork, every week for months.
Then we missed a day and literally never went back.

But why? Lock played decently against the Pats, and pretty damn well against the Cards. Why risk rushing back? Commanders have a backup QB, a patchwork O-line, and a two-headed rushing attack that looks more like a Discworld dragon than GoT.
Hell, I'd even maybe vote for Milroe starting. If he sucks balls, put Darnold on at the half. If he balls out, trade him to the Commanders next week.
Did you see his face on the sideline? If I were that fucking high I'd want to get back in the game, too.
