I'm planning to buy a Zenith El Primero and a Jaeger Reverso. Amazing watches.

I feel like this is mostly the US though, the whole country seems to an apple circlejerk as far as I can tell ?

I wear a manual wind Tissot Squelette, I'm into watches. I don't wear it to signal that, I just love the watch :)
