Isn’t Android Linux? That was the trench defended when I last checked a few years ago.

I was just reading Apple doing all of it’s Silicon R&D over Israel as well. Wondering what Israel is promising them to get landed with lucrative business.

There was an MS tool named COFEE for forensic of Windows machines that’s exclusive to national security agencies, which eventually leaked to What.CD like back in 2009. So I’m pretty sure this predates even Windows 8.

Fun fact: most EVs are using Wwise, a sound engine developed for video games and being used by almost a third of the games industry. Someone someday just thought “hey we can design awesome fake car sounds for racing games with this baby, why don’t we just plug it into cars instead?” then it took off.

On a second note, EV sounds totally hackable over software but no one is paying much attention yet. OTA updates also possible.

“Styx” just reminded me Song of Syx, which is an awesome (dwarf) fortress-like indie game. You can give it’s sales an uptick instead while Styx giveaways goes on:

You somehow made me aware Gates had to use either an UNIX derivative (iPhone) or a Linux derivative (Android) daily.

Being the best doesn’t mean they’re selling well… I assume you’re meaning 7506s? So yeah they’re awesome yet dirt cheap, I highly doubt they will keep Sony floating in the long term.

Anna’s Archive’s data is on IPFS, so effectively it’s pretty hard to remove the data from the nets. Good luck to the establishment though!

As a NAS owner of 5 years now, I’d definitely go with a DAS + a MiniPC, preferably with UnRaid on it.

And when buying high capacity HDDs check video reviews for their loudnesses. Some aren’t quite fit for Living Room usage as they often ROAR AND TREMBLE.

I had that with a GitHub repo seemed abandoned, only to get updated first time in 4 years just a minute before I checked.

I’ve been using Bazzite for a while and mostly happy with it. So from 2026 and on, I’ll start donating a Windows license amount of money to Bazzite and other fundementals every year. Because fuck Windows, that’s why.

Yes it’s mandatory by law, there are penal sanctions and chance to get blacklisted by Türkiye and Erdoğan if you don’t abide.

Hey there Lemmerds,

After years of hard work, today we released a big expansion to our game which mainly includes Nord faction and sea battles. If you're looking for some good action, good sandbox and awesome ship fights, you might want to check it.

Alongside, we're releasing 1.3 patch after a long while, which brings a giant deal of changes.

Hope you enjoy it!

Not exactly self-hosted but I know many jellyfinners here would cherish this as well.

Hey SteamDeck’ers, As we're all aware that Valve broke Remote Play on SteamDeck and hasn't fixed it yet. I'm seeing lots of people having their sound cut off few minutes into streaming, or having lots of ghost input with bluetooth controllers.

However, there are two other options that work well, and sometimes even better than Remote Play.

First, if you're using SteamDeck with a TV and have an Android or Apple TV, consider using the Steam Link app instead. It's still great!

Second, you can use Moonlight to stream directly to SteamDeck. Find Moonlight in Discover (SteamOS desktop appstore) in Desktop mode. Installing it is just that easy.

You will also need to install Sunshine, the Server counterpart as well on your PC.

Moonlight is a great replacement to NVIDIA's now retired GameStream and works with any GPU with the help of Sunshine. In fact, it offers smoother visuals compared to Steam Remote Play, also offers HDR support on supported TVs.

Happy streaming!
