Commenting again to repeat that I think it's awesome that you're going with a redirect rather than the ban hammer approach.

In Ideogram, prompt: a fork in the road

In Google Gemini

Prompt: generate a picture of a fork in the road

Bing

Prompt: a fork in the road

Idk where the cat came from, Bing must do some edits and expansion of very short/simple prompts behind the scenes. Sometimes it will just refuse to make anything if the prompt is too vague or short

Hold on, do you think this is a ban across all of Lemmy?

Thank you for responding with a redirect instead of a shut-down.

It's not a book ban, it's one particular bookstore stopped distribution of that book. The bookstore next to it prominently advertises that it sells that book.

There should be some communities built around an appreciation of anime. Spend time there, therefore posting to people who are there to see anime stuff. Block usernames that give you a hard time for liking what you like

For most things hobby related, it's best to directly ask what they'd like for Christmas that helps with their hobby. If they always talk about buying from one particular store or supplier, a gift card to there would be good

Edited for better words good

That's so good! It's worth opening the picture to get the full detail and check out the candy Sailor Moon. I love that it's lit from inside, and the chocolate bar garage door is a nice touch

I like the idea of eating a gingerbread house, so I thought of a large bell jar to cover a cake topped with a gingerbread house as a way to display it and also eat it later.

What do you want to see in your gingerbread house?

He says he can't. I'm so bummed.

This club can't even Handel me right now

I'm looking for a better knife sharpener for my hard steel chef knife. I think whetstones are the way to go, but most of the sets I see are 4 double sided stones. Do I need that many stones?

Is there a totally different type of sharpener that you have had success with?

Edit: I should add that I like my knife very sharp, and I have a few tiny chips in the cutting edge from a cheap drag-through sharpener.

For me, there were several dollar store trinkets that already broke, and one toy for my kids that was a huge sparkly styrofoam mess waiting to happen, so I threw it out rather than curse anyone else with it.

Some weeks ago I kept seeing a story that I can't seem to find anymore. A dog was guarding a flock or a herd, and after an attack on the animals the dog was watching over, it went missing for days tracking down a pack of wolves or coyotes and killing most or all of them. There was said to be a trail of dead pack members. The dog finally returned with one eye and possibly an ear damaged and went to the vet and then retired from guard duties after that.

The titles of these posts often mentioned revenge on the pack.

I've either accidentally exaggerated the story enough that when I find it, it doesn't sound right, or I just haven't found the right combination of terms to track down what I'm after.
