If you are a Windows user, I recommend Linux Mint.
- Office 365 and Teams can be both used as PWA, I think, so it shouldn't be a problem.
- VirtualBox and other development tools are linux supported
- Games can be sometimes pain, but thanks to steamdeck the community is huge now

Returning to your issue. Is Leagueoflegends.exe present in the Wine folder? If there is, attempt to fix the path in lutris; if not, try reinstall.
I prefer Linux Mint, but I don't believe there is a "best" for gaming; simply select the one with which you are most familiar.
I recommend Bottles instead of Lutris, also check out Proton (through steam).
