Mark Williams is the best homegrown center the Hornets have had since Alonzo Mourning

Joe is a much better shooter, ball handler, and just quicker than Papagiannis, who played a few more games in the NBA but that's about it. As it stands, Chealey is a superior player and I think the debate can be settled once and for all.

Let me preface this by saying that Miles is an abuser who shouldn’t be in the league. With that being said, has there been any evidence that he did the pool ball stuff aside from his ex’s word? The same ex who was also abusive and has caused their children even more pain? She shouldn’t be trusted on her word alone.

Last time we had pictures. Miles definitely did that (heinous) stuff, as evidenced by his no contest plea.

Source: hornets broadcast. Terry now has 5312 points, passing Felton’s 5311.

Sharing because this is laughably sad. Good for Terry though, he’s been a solid contributor for this team for several years now. One of the better shooting guards in the league and is really fun to watch when he’s having a good night (not so much when he isn’t). As a Hornets/Louisville fan I’m a big fan of Terry and have his jersey.

What went wrong with Joe Chealey?

Watching Scoot, I started googling to see who the most recent physical comparable would be.

Chealey is 6’3 with an above average wingspan

Undrafted and only played 5 games in 2 seasons. Still just 27 years old but a clear bust.

Did this above average physical specimen just not have any interest in basketball? Any major injuries? Does seem so. What happened to him?

Imagine getting the genetic luck of being 6'3 with an above average wingspan and just decide youy'll quiet quit your way through your NBA career.

RJ Hunter just put up one of the worst preseasons ever for an exhibit 10 guy that actually got run. He was so bad in his first three games that he was not played in the fourth game.

Game 1 vs Heat: 3/1/0 on 1/7 FG, -9 in 7 minutes

Game 2 vs Wizards: 0/2/0 on 0/1 FG, -16 in 6 minutes

Game 3 vs Thunder: 0/2/0 on 0/3 FG, -8 in 6 minutes

Total: 3/5/0 on 1/11 FG, -33 in 19 minutes

Hunter single handedly lost the Hornets the game vs the Heat (109-113 loss). The Hornets were also beating the Wizards by 10 before the Hornets' preseason bench which includes Hunter came in and blew the game instantly (LaMelo was +17, Brandon Miller +13). r/CharlotteHornets has been so disgusted by his play but naturally since he was never making the roster and was just a guy brought in for the Greensboro Swarm nobody would notice except Hornets fans (and maybe Heat fans who watched him attempt to play hero ball and fail miserably).

Obviously these are really low sample size, I just find it amusing.
