as.a Knicks fan I am really pleasantly surprised and thankful for RJ Barrett thus far this season

he has made some really nice improvements to his game, nothing that jumps out at you but has just been way more consistent and reliable but that goes a long way defensively and offensively throughout the course of the game and season

also just thankful for his maturity as a player, it seems like he has taken on a big responsibility to be the team glue guy and everyone looks up to ans he helps keep everyone like randle brunon mitch on the same page and engaged and united as a squad

also incredibly thankful for mitchell robinsons defensive and rebounding prowess , he a beast on the glass and very intimidating in the paint

tldr: I love the knicks

anyway

what are you most thankful for this season NBA wise?

I'll be thankful when I see Giddey behind bars. Lock him up!

Lebron still has another year at an elite level, for the past 2 seasons considering most players suck at his age I’ve been preparing for Lebron to be a 18/5/5 guy who clearly looks like he is a shell of himself. Lucky every year he makes it clear early this isn’t the season yet.

Yeah, but what about Chris Paul getting sidelined by that inflatable duck?!?

Kind of dark but I am thankful that it may help be a small part of the perfect storm that would push my depressed ass to suicide after wanting to do it for decades. I love Detroit sports.

im a bulls fan lol BUT i am so happy that the celtics starters have adjusted to playing with KP and jrue so fast. giannis and dame have had great flashes but have been pretty inconsistent and that isn't a problem in Boston. just happy for jrue to be moved to another place where he is still in strong contention for a title

Porzingis for the Celtics

And for the NBA as a whole just good games. It's nice to be able to watch a good finish from 7, 8, 10 starts.

The Josh Hart/Jalen Brunson friendship is slowly healing the scarred wounds of Knicks fans

KAT has stopped whining at the refs and started hustling back on defense when he doesn't get calls.

He's playing the best ball of his career and the Zen attitude has been important for that

  1. The kristaps porzingis and jaylen brown chemistry on and off the court and

  2. Jayson Tatum always. Very lucky to have him

  3. Derrick White

[–] Guiltra_@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

I haven't seen White missing a single 3pt-shot, can we engage in trade negotiations?

Mark Williams is the best homegrown center the Hornets have had since Alonzo Mourning

I'm grateful my team is able to hang on to large leads to win by a few points, instead of lose by a few points, this year.

That even with Draymond not starting his season, CP3 , Wiggins, and Klay Thompson having some of the worst shooting slumps of their careers, a Steph injury, and playing the hardest schedule in the league the Warriors are still somehow within spitting distance of .500.

[–] PuzzleheadedRun4525@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

How the league has focused more on the refs. Really glad to see them playing a starring role.

[–] shammgod_10@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

KD being healthy and still elite at age 35. That’s all that matters. Cant take it for granted. As a fan, Im always anxious he gets hurt that’s why I always try yo watch his games even im at work coz it maybe his last.

[–] shinshikaizer@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Jordan Poole is the gift that keeps giving.

Granted, not in a good basketball way, but in a "Hahaha, I needed that after the day I've had" way.

[–] hankbaumbachjr@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Alex Caruso.
