Just tuned in. Seeing Tony Romo, I turned it off. His smile before a holiday Cowboy game was too much. Sure I will tune in again later, but my brain just refused to subject itself to him for a while.

Not only should the drive-into-a-defender not be rewarded, I am tired of an offensive player that is bigger/stronger backing down a player in the post. You work for position. Pushing someone off the block with your back/ass should be a foul. You are entitled to your position.

Don’t get me wrong. Turning and working around a player with some force is not that same thing, but usually done right at the basket. You need to establish that position before getting the ball, not get the ball 8-10 feet out and push the defender all the way under the basket.

They care because they have had it explained to them. The sole reason for the tournament is to increase revenue during the early season. An increase in revenue will result in raising the salary cap and player salaries. The commercials, the interviews and statements, are all advertising to increase viewership and revenue.

I near spit out my coffee over this title.

You have to HAVE quality assurance to apply quality assurance.

A few more years at Duke would have been a good decision.
