For me, the biggest obstacle would be that he wasn’t the most valuable player. Sure, there was voter fatigue for Jokic last season, but Embiid was still clearly top-2.

I’m actually ok with teams playing hard for longer.

Depends how you look at it. If the MVP is for the most valuable player, Giannis isn’t yet in the top-5, with how Jokic, Shai, Embiid, Halliburton, and KD have played so far.

To be fair, you don’t have an opinion on this, since you admittedly don’t follow the NBA. Chet isn’t the MVP, but you obviously aren’t going to get any support for this take from anyone who likes the NBA.

What’s your reasoning for having Herro over the 8-10 guys?

Lol. Looking at his comment about assists per pass, it seems like he almost certainly has never watched a basketball game before. How are so many people in here straight-up uninterested in basketball?

People who don’t follow the league closely tend to have low predictions for rookie blocks. It’s not uncommon at all for rookies to be at or near career highs. I expected Wemby to be at this level right away. Walker Kessler had a higher block percentage last season than Wemby does now.
