Mobley slightly too high, LaMelo too low, Cam is comically high and probably shouldn’t even be on the list, Sengun is way too low, Barrett being on the list is hilarious, Paolo too low

I want a legit reason why Hali is better than Ant and I love Hali.
The only thing Hali will have on him is playmaking and efficiency but Ant has been efficient himself and is a great defender
As a Pacers fan I agree. Ant’s overall game is more valuable and the only way Hali stays above him is if he maintains 25 and 12 on 50/40/90 AND becomes an average defender, which I think he can cause of his size and basketball IQ but he’s sadly shown no signs of progress in that department.
I don’t really care who goes over who, but “only” playmaking is ignoring how massive that gap is.
PPG wise Haliburton is at 25.4 PPG today Vs 26.7 for Edwards
APG wise, Hali is currently at 12.1 APG vs 5.1 for Edwards, over doubling his total there.
Efficiency wise, Hali has been even more efficient than Edwards too. Ant is definitely the better defender which needs to be factored in, but statistically I don’t think there’s much argument so far this year Hali has been a better offensive player
I’d like to point out here that Ant is being hounded by doubles every game now. So, yes, Hali’s efficiency is higher, but it’s obviously a bit easier scoring and moving the ball 1v1 than 1v2.
Despite the doubles, his splits are still roughly 46/38/87, which are obviously still good despite the insane attention.
Mobley is not that good he's the same dude for years. I never knew people cared about defense in Cleveland that much
