This dating app has many problems yes the fediverse is all about privacy but what about actually knowing enough information to swipe yes or no. For all one knows the person may or may not be single, may or may not have kids may be an evangelical ect ect. All one knows about the person is where they live an a picture that may or may not be real.

How might private storage compete with corporate super hardrives for websites? There is the darkweb Wikipedia and internet archive and a decent amount of data on the0 fediverse. There may be a point where megacorps have eyes in the terminal of computers what is the logistics of open source computers with all the components and what would it be like?

Btw When I was very young the megacorps were something cool and I am poor so if I'm the product then it's fine. Your money went towards better products like the Mac, Imovie and more (at least in perception). but I have an irrational feeling that what was once free in the mid 2010s is now a bucket load of money that since the Russian disinformation campaign and the turn of many companies towards sucking every last penny by charging for what was once taken for granted out of their users innovation has stifled and what was once free is captive.

How can the privacy alt web correlate with the content of data itself and the ability to access the data? How might private storage compete with corporate super hardrives for websites?

What harm does public data have to you? Couldn't one just ignore the ads? You can't see anyone watching you, is public data good for public records? (I'm just curious). I know this sounds weird but is public data good for historical preservation and knowledge increasing the importance of the individual? And does public data lead to better products?

Privacy isn't the only reason to have alternatives app alternatives have the advantage that they might have different abilities then Google and thus could achieve more diversity of features though Google is pretty high quality different algorithms might produce different stuff.
