Because the driver is supposed to be responsible for the vehicle, not saying this approach is right but I think fsd clearly states you need to be present and responsible for the vehicle while fsd is engaged.

So it's been allowed to go on because a human is still 'in control ' of the vehicle.

At least that's my take on the situation.

I actually don't know what people's hesitancy is, but I've seen numerous people say proton is not good, we'll see if anybody chimes in with a reason.

Besides the cost of terminals, this problem has been solved by starlink and soon project kuiper.

I would say eve typically do have more controls on touchscreens vs buttons. Now this issue is mainly observed in Teslas more than any other car, but Teslas are the most popular ev so ya it's definitely more of a problem on evs.

Android auto is great, but it's also a horrible cluster fuck because it's up to the automakers to integrate it into their system. Sort of just like Android phones from Samsung and other third-party companies.

The automakers usually fuck it up. It works fairly great on my 2015 Mazda 3 except for if I plug my phone in while the car is in reverse or some other odd times, the head unit just gets stuck on a black screen until I restart the car. Also, the touch screen doesn't work for Android auto which is a bummer.

43% of people are unintelligent.

jk it's much more than 43% but it's at least 43%.

Counterstrike 2 is native to Linux, doesn't use proton so should have 0 preforman impact

Actually it is 100% that simple, proton has fixed gaming on Linux.

It doesn't work for a few rare games that install a rootkit on your Windows PC, but that's already silly and irresponsible of you to allow a game to do anyway, in my opinion.

I live in the US, you're more likely to die in a car accident than get killed by someone with a gun. Plus all us Americans should be pretty desensitized to shootings and what not now, just get over it lol

I would never install a rootkit on my system to play a video game anyway.
