People think the refs help the chiefs and it couldn't be further from the truth.

32nd in beneficiary penalties with only 49. Chiefs and Bears only two teams in the league averaging below 5 beneficiary penalties a game.

Tbf to Pat, he should have had 3 passing TDs. Refs stole one by calling Pacheco down on the one on a receiving TD when he was clearly in. Reid opted not to challenge and just have Pacheco run it in for a one yard TD.

How you gonna be speeding while drunk when you play for LV lol... don't they have lik a picture of Ruggs in the building as a warning for that?

If the Patriots move on from him, I see him retiring... he'll be turning 72 in the off-season.

I'd probably pick the Vikings

Chargers have a grossly mismanaged franchise and terrible owner that holds the team back (and moved them away from all their fans because he's a cheap piece of shit)

The Bears...just seems miserable to be a bears fan honestly. I'm almost 40 and there's only a few short periods I ever remember them being a real threat to win anything.

Jets... no.

The amount of Charger fans in here talking shit is hilarious... you guys are 4-5 lol, calm down.

I got a feeling Broncos going to shock some people tonight. That defense looks A LOT better. I'd also like to see them win for the pure anarchy of 13 of 16 AFC teams being within 2 games of each other.

https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2023/upshot/nfl-playoff-picture.html

The NFC now has 4 teams with a 95%+ chance of making the playoffs.

The 5th through 7th teams are also highly probably between 74-83%

The only other team with even a shot at sneaking into the playoffs with a 20%+ probability in the NFC, is TB.

There are 8 NFC teams 2+ games below .500 already

The NFC playoffs will likely feature, SF, PHI, DAL, DET, MIN, SEA and probably NO and if not NO, it will be TB... That's basically your NFC playoff field for 2023, only seeding left to decide.

Meanwhile over in the AFC the picture couldn't me more unclear beyond the Chiefs.

The Chiefs now have a 99% playoff chance and 60% chance of being the 1 seed, beyond that...

There are 10 teams between 25% and 90% fighting for the final 6 spots.... and no one else above 90%.

More crazy, there are 12 teams in the AFC within 2 games of each other with 8 weeks left. (records ranging from 6-3 to 4-5)

There are only 3 teams in the AFC 2+ games below .500

The AFC could realistically end up with 10 or more teams over .500 this year, with only 7 of them obviously able to make the playoffs.

Anyway, I just thought it was interesting how completely different the conferences are shaping up as we head toward the back stretch.

With the NFC playoff picture almost completely decided already, while over in the AFC it looks like almost every team will be in the playoff hunt headed into the final couple weeks if things keep going the same direction.

Sometimes Chiefs fans shit on Reid for being conservative and running the ball late up two scores... but the Texans right now are a shining example of you should have been running the ball for two posessions and not throwing it.

And now the Ravens do the same thing.. Maybe Reid being boring and running games out isn't so bad lol

Gonna be a crazy AFC race for the final wild card the way things are going. Depending on how the late games go you could have 8-9 different teams within a game or so of each other.

That's a lot of teams fighting for 3 playoff spots down the line.

NFC is so much more top heavy, 7 teams with 3 or less wins vs the AFC with only 3.
