Commanders maybe. No idea. But 0% chance of Belichick going to Dallas. Belichik wants full control. Jerry Jones wants full control. Zero compatibility.

Jerry wants a super bowl more than control.

If Belichick is interested in Dallas then Jerry is gonna open up that check book.

Cowboys linked to Belichick is complete bullshit for clicks. This should just read, "Commanders Are 'Most Connected' to Patriots Bill Belichick."

FTFY

If he is willing to work under a GM I'd be happy to have him in Washington. But it doesn't sound like he wants to do that.

I just don't see Jerry giving up the power that Belichick would demand. I also don't think he'll move on from McCarthy yet. We've been a 12-5 team the last two years and we look headed there this year.

Jerry Jones decides to honor Jimmy Johnson's induction into the Cowboys Ring of Honor by firing another head coach after a Super Bowl win? Fine, I'll take it.

If the Patriots move on from him, I see him retiring... he'll be turning 72 in the off-season.

Absolutely no fucking way Jerry gives up GM duties for Bill. He wouldn’t even do it for Parcells.

[–] ShogunNamedMarcus_@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

He did do it for Parcells though....he also already leaves most GM duties to his sone Stephen and Will McClay. And I don't think he will give Bill power over those two, nor should he. McClay has a great draft record, and Stephen has been good with contracts. And Bill has not been good at drafting. Bill is the GOAT HC, but he's mostly a mediocre GM.

Do you remember the Aaron Rodgers Brady debates?

Everyone said Rodgers was better because McCarthy was trash and Belichick was a walking deity.

I only want Belichick to the Cowboys if there's an entire season of Hard Knocks following that relationship.

Hear me out

Cowboys fire Big Mic in anticipation of hiring BB

Dan Quinn is given permission to pursue other coaching opportunities in anticipation of Belichick coming to Dallas

Belichick reaches mutual agreement with New England to retire instead of be fired unceremoniously.

Jerry scrambledrills back to Ron Rivera.

Actually, the Patriots are the most connected to Patriots' Bill Belichick

[–] Burger_Gouger@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

I think it’s either he’ll be HC of Chargers next year or stay in NE

[–] Lazydusto@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

I don't like either of these possibilities

[–] BirdmanTheThird@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

I’m pretty certain that he will suddenly look like McDaniels as soon as he steps into DC

Washington definitely needs some changes, but I don't see how bringing in another dinosaur is going to change anything about this team. I'm expecting this team to really struggle the next couple of years even more so than normal, but the full rebuild must finally happen.

[–] JVSaladbar@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Bro, Zeke got cut and one of the teams he was linked to in Free Agency was the Cowboys 😂 They put us "in" on everybody.

[–] IPA_____Fanatic@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

The Cowboys were tossed in for clicks. We aren't interested.

[–] reaper527@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

imagine if he went to tampa and won a ring with the bucs.

Meanwhile, and mark my words, Bill O'Brien is the "most connected" to the Carolina Panthers.

Think about it. Frank Reich isn't getting a second season. Matt Rhule was the previous failure. So what is David Tepper gonna do? He's gonna hire the guy that had success with Bryce Young at Alabama. And that was Bill O'Brien. I know it's a terrible hire but it's still gonna happen. BOB is inevitable.
