Dead Cells, with 1300hrs total (I have hit a wall at 3BC I haven't been able to pass, but it's still fun), and Grim Dawn with 1600hrs (but including non-official content like the user-run seasons). Current runner-ups are Sulfur and Witchfire with around 250hrs both.

Since you are a self proclaimed professional, what percentage of nude requests were answered positively, and is it as close to zero as I expect?

Yup, this one: https://wiw.org/~meta/vsum/view.php?vir=245

Our version of f-prot was severely outdated, and remediation method of choice was a full reinstall while booting from a clean 3.5 inch floppy.

That's just gonna be the plot of another piece of porn specifically produced for the UK

A fun game is Mini Airways, which also deals with managing the takeoff and landing of planes. According to this Game, I am NOT qualified for that job.

The first thing I downloaded at home was Star Wars Imperial march using a 56k modem. But before that a colleague of my father made a fair bit of money using his relatively fast internet connection to download games and apps from newsgroups, effectively running a subscription service offering 1 CD each with programs and games per month. I still have the Mp3, but the CDs are long gone.

Edit: I just recalled that on one of the CDs the game Battlecruiser 3000AD had a virus - it complained that the executable had been modified, and looking at the exe with an hex editor I found the Signature "At the grave of Grandma..." In the file. A quick search with a manually defined search pattern using f-prot revealed that nearly every executable on my PC was infected. At least my efforts were able to protect a lot of people from the same fate when I reported back to that guy.

Yeah it happens with the I/O widgets for my Btrfs mount point for my HDDs, which takes a few seconds after the shell loads to become available. Haven't found a way to delay loading of widgets yet.

When I type p I get "plasmashell --replace --no-respawn" because I have to reload plasmashell twice after reboot to get all my widgets in working state lol

Hail Hydra or something

Israel, Russia and the USA internationally, domestically they have more competition like NK, China, Belarus, some African States and a bit of South America

I use winboat so I can have Windows programs in a seamless window on Linux. Still a VM, but less annoying to use in comparison to a full RDP session (which is possible if needed)

The reminder worked fine! But I rarely use this account anymore as you can see from the delay.

A Nobara Linux Desktop running KDE Plasma 6 with system stats using a vaporwave color scheme on the left, a drop-down terminal named Yakuake showing neofetch, a completely borderless browser window showing a Deezer web app on the center bottom, and weather and audio widgets on the right. The desktop background is animated with a wallpaper engine plugin, showing a cyberpunk city with the silhouettes of a few people rummaging through a giant heap of tech scraps, with one figure standing on top and looking into the bright city lights. Light fog is moving over the scene while it rains.

Seedbox: how to start? (lemmy.dbzer0.com)
submitted 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago) by a_wild_mimic_appears@lemmy.dbzer0.com to c/piracy@lemmy.dbzer0.com

Hi people! I have been pirating for myself for over 30 years now, and with the ever growing size of warez and the laughable upstream limit my ISP has, i have come to the point where it's not practical to maintain a 1:1 ratio for all torrents anymore - my active torrent list keeps growing beyond practical limits, and i'm someone who wants to keep sharing things for the people after me, esp. torrents with low amounts of seeds.

I'm pretty sure that i know more than i think i do, but i would be happy about a few pointers to get started with a seedbox. i have beginner linux skills, advanced user skills, and not shy of reading manuals on how to get things to work. i have not tinkered with docker much yet, but i'm willing to learn.

Edit: From what i've learned and seen i tend towards an dedicated server since i might want to host other services for myself too, so suggestions for what hoster to look at are welcome!
