yes, that makes sense, i failed to understandt this part, the glove thing only applies to moving blades and discgrinder, oh, dont forget lathes and drill presses.

Thanks for the insight in your profession. Yes, all what you said makes total sense. still, you don't want to have a standart work glove when dealing with moving blades, in germany that's also forbidden by security laws, out of the rasons I mentioned, maimed hands and so on. I must have met at least 8 - 10 people. but, yea, its a hand surgery facility.

dont ever wear gloves when working with rotating or moving saws. the gloves will force your hand into the saw.

i am a regular guest on a clinic ward that specializes in hand surgery. people with severed fingers or half of a hand missing always tell me the same story: the glove forced my hand into the sawblade.

because they do need him / fear him more than we do.

I only have common sense. of course the whole thing is less water intensive then having to nurture an animal for 2 years and then kill it. but you can't compare industrial waste water and water usage on a farm.

well, renewable energy... you could say the same for a farm. just put solar on the roof, like they do anyway. yes, you need less diesel for a factory product. but you still need an agricultural product, you don't grow the stuff out of thin air. so diesel will be the same.

then you will need lots more of energy. you need technology. you need chemicals. and so on. you need specialist, chemists, industrial mechanics. all that costs a whole lot of ressources, and ratches up co2 footprint as well.

its like the idea of insect protein.

i dont think this will realize into reality at all, in a meaningfull scale, i mean. the whole thing is just a technical nightmare.

its like urban farms with indoor lights and hydroponics. its just not efficient.

there are like 100dreds of different ones ;-)

usually, you have to cook them this long because the outer shell has some form of toxin against plant eating animals.

OP has friends, when i was i that age, i talked to my freinds or cousin about this kind of thing, and they would explain it to me, and prevent me from doing stupid stuff. i therefore think the whole thing is either really creepy for real, or made up.

IF you had any friends, they would have done their damnedest to protect you from getting yourself in this situation.

so, either your telling bullshit, or your freiends are not your friends.

yeah, you need less land for that, but a factory, huge vats, a laboratory for quality control, plumbing, huge amounts of water. it will be a bit similiar to a large brewery, but way more complicated, since you are not dealing with liquids that you can pump around when its done.

those who own these factories will not be farmers.
