“LOoPrInG iS a LoNg tErM pLaY”

Dude, look around at the most recent, common posts on this sub and tell me what you see encouraging in the long term about 8-bit gif NFTs?

separately, Loopring can update the smart wallet all they want, but that doesn’t guarantee the protocol will be meaningfully used and it hasn’t historically. but yeah, marketing’s coming “soon”

People on discord begging to hear from the CEO, but dude doesn’t say a peep. they don’t even have a roadmap ffs. And no, the “forward looking” portions of the rambly quarterly reports are so abstract and nonspecific, they cannot count as a roadmap

ffs, yet more of this dumb shit 🤦‍♂️

OP, you truly need to DYOR. This thread is chock full of ridiculous responses. Not sure why your post brought out so many truly illogical, and arguably stupid, replies.

No one can explain that because, well…. (You can finish the sentence I’m sure)

100%. If I recall correctly, these more technical questions were handled primarily by Brecht historically. This was before, of course, his departure to co-found Taiko.

It seemed Byron here was not able to technically answer the question about explaining zero knowledge proof technology. The post-editing (the somewhat abrupt cut in the video) also makes this clear. Many people have used the familiar example of going to a bar, and a bouncer checking an ID.

To the extent this is an example of Loopring expanding their marketing, it seems to me that either: 1) B’s going to have to be more ready to field technical questions of this sort or 2) Loopring should consider adding someone better situated to do so. Or perhaps both. Especially from an inspiring-confidence point of view. After all, as B emphasized, Loopring is a consumer facing protocol…

The downvotes to your on-point observation is yet another example of how this community—much like man my GME-focused communities—simply downvote criticism, even if it is constructive and from a POV of helping the project do better. It’s truly embarrassing.

Hopefully better to come on these areas.
