Well, I think this is actually good for Wembanyama. Maybe now people will stop expecting him to have a 25 points triple double every game with an unbeatable defence. A couple of weeks ago people were seriously saying that the kid was going to break Wilt Chamberlain's records and that he was going to be a top-50 player this season. Better leave the kid alone and let him develop. He may burn out too soon with all the pressure.

People is not that down. The problem is that media hyped too much Wemby, and everyone was too high before the season started. Now, Chet is playing great, Wemby had a bad week, and people is overreacting. If wemby has a couple more of games like the one last night, probably we will reach a balance and acknoledge that Chet vs. Wemby is pretty close, and that both of them are extremely promising.
