So Im new to watching the NBA, but it seems players are more likely to foul hard late in the game to force shots at the line, especially if its a poor shooter. Shouldnt the passer be rewarded for that regardless? Maybe Im just looking at it wrong and someone can explain better. I googled and they do it in FIBA but maybe it makes more sense for them for some reason.
