Fallout. The one that comes to mind is the Fallout 4 menu music, but I've gotten that feeling with nearly all their games.

'Cute' is just a positive word saying the outfit's nice. 'Sexy' is the pregnancy of the fashion world. Don't tell someone they look sexy unless you're really sure and maybe not even then. Not all women who are sexy are trying to look sexy, and 'sexy' means different things to different people.
It's been a while since I saw it, but I remember most people thought something was wrong with the experiment setup or equipment.
Don't tell him he's annoying. Call him out when something's not appropriate for the workplace (like the fart jokes) but don't make it about his personality.
Consult HR on how to go about the quirks that aren't inappropriate but still very annoying. They can give you the language toolbox you need.
Too much butter and maybe an earthquake.
Honestly I like your way better. Makes the ticket easier to hand off. Pocketing that for later.
What I used to do was make notes at the end of the day. Just a couple short bullet points to say at standup and help me get back on track a little faster the next morning.
Headaches are annoying but what you described is a migraine. Those will usually put a person out of commission. Your doctor can prescribe you fast working meds for when they hit.
Want to add that not all migraines are the same. While most will incapacitate a person, a mild headache that lasts several days can be considered a migraine and I've had low pain migraines with aura that are basically just visual distortions.
The FIRE way is 25x the salary you want to have in retirement. If you're in the US, make an account with the SSA to check your estimated social security benefits. Take the number with a large grain of salt.
Truth be told, it's all pretty bleak. I save and invest 50% of my income but when I do the numbers for retirement I'll still be retiring ~65. Personally I'm a skeptic and don't factor in social security, though. The depressing reality is if you're saving for retirement then you're already better off than most.
Is your condition stable, slowly worsening, or critical?
Before you do anything, talk to your doctor. They might be able to recommend a specialist in-state or closer than NY. They may even be able to work with a doctor in another hospital. If you want to go to NY, talk to the hospital directly (not through your cousin) and buy the ticket as close as possible. Unless your condition is severe and worsening, they may not be able to take you in immediately. Look at the hospital online and see if they have telemedicine services. You might be able to make an appointment through that.
Lastly, for the incoming medical bills my advice is this:
- See if you qualify for financial aid through the hospital.
- Get an itemized bill and ask if there's anything that can be reduced.
- Get the lowest payment plan that you can. Never miss a payment. After some time you might be able to pay it off a reduced bill or it may even be forgiven.
Edit: Also, NTA as many people have said. Best of luck, friend.
I would love to hear other opinions but I remember friendly political discussion being common in the US before the 2016 election. Not that people didn't argue but the bulk of discussions weren't as hot. Maybe I'm glamorizing it though. Does anyone else remember?
Letting the real secrets out.
