Hyper-Reality presents a provocative and kaleidoscopic new vision of the future, where physical and virtual realities have merged, and the city is saturated in media.

Hopefully, it would be unfortunate if we regress going forward. This next generation is giving me some doubts but we will see. It would be cool if we could get another global hippie peace movement going.

I wait until it's free. I'm really into emulating older games. I'm replaying Jet Set Radio Future now. What a golden soundtrack.

One time as a kid I found an offset motor with straps to strap to your hand to aid in giving a massage in my grandma's room. It wasn't until my adult life I realized it was likely just an OG vibrator (╥﹏╥)

All policies should be testable and tested. If it works to increase the HDI and decrease environmental impact then I would consider that good enough to implement. If a policy doesn't increase the wellbeing of the society and humanity as a shared organism on earth then it may not be a good policy. If it's neutral then it's an arbitrary call.

Getting people fighting over political identity is a classic move. If they dare befriend one another then that's a problem. Remember, never get over your differences, the rich and powerful depend on it. Politics is religion2.0 where you are unquestionably right and anyone who disagrees with you is the spawn of Satan sent to earth to destroy everything and you should hate them eternally without an ounce of doubt.

The trick is to get them fighting about anything besides how the rich are abusing the poor. Get them fighting over race, culture, sexuality, political affiliation, immigration, gender, really anything will work. The moment they start waking up just hit them with a new crisis like an impromptu war or domestic terror attack, even a pandemic if you really need to.

You don't need to be the champion or the rebel or anyone else in-between if you don't want to be. All I would prefer is you be kind to yourself and others.

I often come back to the concept that every mental and physical state is a form of yoga, like there's laughing and crying yoga aka we are bringing our breath, body, and mind into a posture to focus on a thing whichever that thing is. These days I'm so old and crusty that even the unpleasantness of the human condition is appreciated and something I'm grateful to have.
