For me, it was an insane S.T.A.L.K.E.R. deal from Fanatical that gave me the whole original trilogy for just $7.64. I assess every game based on this and it's just so hard to find games that have such a deep amount of meat in them. #NotGoodEnough (of a deal) lol.

I'd consider that your best deal. Stalker is an amazing series.

For me it highly depends on the game on if I will wait patiently or if I want to make sure the devs work is supported well from the outset.

Stalker is actually one of those for me. Bought each one basically at launch. And got the fancy edition of Stalker 2.

But any game I'm unsure about I wait for super deep discounts anything 70+% off I'll consider pretty strongly. Under $10 also gets a lot of consideration.

The amount of grind in modern games to pad it out. I dint want more to do, i want good fun while i do it. If they dont respect my tine, i dont want to pay for it.

Street fighter is my favourite. So i get it full price day one. However, i do so on ps5. I think next release, ill be gerring it on steam and not layong a stupid ps+ subscription to play.

I wait until it's free. I'm really into emulating older games. I'm replaying Jet Set Radio Future now. What a golden soundtrack.

I've sure been grateful for Epic Games', GOG's, etc. giveaways, yeah!

I got Subnautica for free from an Epic giveaway. Really kind of skews expectations vs prices.

Finding Eneba.

If I wait long enough, I can usually get a good game+all its DLC, as a Steam key for under $3.

Just Early Access and AAA releases in general. Usually absolutely shit quality, so I can wait. By the time they're finally good, I've waited quite a while so waiting for sale isn't that much more to ask
