People don’t realize that before the concentration camps the Nazis just went around either doing mass shooting of Jews(as well as Roma, Poles, and those deeming mentally unfit). Not only did this make Himmler vomit after attending one of these shooting it also left a heavy toll on the minds of the Einsatzgruppen who were carrying them out. Doing horrible violence to other human beings over and over fucks up most people, even the pieces of shit that would participate in the first place.

Anyway the next Nazi solution was vans equipped with gas chambers

They've straight up told us they don't care, "everybody dies", most conservatives believe they will live forever in the afterlife and that this world doesn't matter because that's what they are taught in church. The quality and length of a person's life here is meaningless in their minds if the people that die were to just get saved they'll get everything they wanted in heaven. Its sick and one of the major contributors to our current situation.

I remember when the paranoid right was freaking out over “Obama’s FEMA camps” that he was gonna use to round them all up for reeducation or worse. Their fears really are all projections of what they would do when they got authority

Eventually that wont be "efficient enough" there's only so many gators and not enough to handle the number of people they intend to murder. There's already talk about them just dumping people in the ocean from military planes. I haven't dug into those reports enough to verify its already happened but something like that is coming if something isn't done to stop it.

I’m actually the other way around, love summer hate winter, I get summer has some discomfort issues but I cannot stand being cold and layering clothes is a sensory nightmare. Plus the longer nights and shorter days fuck with my already erratic sleep schedule, but I have ADHD and autism and grew up in the American south so maybe I’m the outlier

Friend I’m almost 40, been laid off twice and am struggling despite a 20 year old bachelor's degree and working for a Fortune 25 company. I like the other commenter do not have the faith that the market will exist by the time I’m of age to retire, and if it does I fully expect for the goal posts to have shifted to being 10 years later than previous gens and completely out of any reasonable saving I could do and still just survive.

I appreciate your concern and advice but I’m well past believing I’ll get a relaxing end to this life without a major paradigm shift in the way human beings organize ourselves.

I ain’t telling anyone what to do but my millennial ass has given up any hope of retirement. I’ll either die fighting against the hellscape world being created, take myself out if somehow I survive that, or in the miraculous event we as a species succeed in wresting control of this planet away from the sociopathic rich and set up an egalitarian society I hopefully wouldn’t need to save up for it

We have thus far gotten so lucky with this bird flu if an efficient cross species variant had emerged so many people would be dead as fuck

That is just frighteningly upsetting
