I was looking into the new, probably AI, data center being built in town and noticed it's built by a private equity backed firm. The data center was rejected by the city and has to operate with a standard cooperate building water supply. They said are switching to air cooling only and reducing the compute power to keep power usage the same. This has caused amazon, the alleged operator, to back out. So they are building a giant reduced capacity data center with no operator and apparently still think that's a good idea. My understanding of the private equity bubble is that the firms can hide "under performing" assets because it's all private. From what I read, possibly 3.2 Trillion dollars of it. I feel like this new data center is going on the "under performing" pile.

Exactly, we don't need to be right at all.

Do we really need West and South when we can use negative North and negative East?

I know you can create a gpu ram disk so you could use it as swap lol.

Well, most of that "incredible" quarter was just IOU's from Sam Altman.

I guess so. I recently setup moonlight + sunshine + tailscale and have been self hosting game streaming. I really do see the appeal of it for some games. It's nice not have to sit at desk or have to holding giant hand held.

What I mean is the only way to play the game is though a streaming service. This way the game code is never public. This probably is already a thing but I haven't heard anything about it.

I doubt a few hours is long enough if the filament is really wet. It probably needs like 24+ hours. I would just switch to the new filament to test if that is really the problem. Then decide if it's worth trying to save the old filament.

Are they much better than presta valves at resisting clogging from sealant?

I plugged my Steamdeck into my usb-c dock and set the primary display to the secondary monitor and switched the built in screen off. When it finished, the launcher bar disappeared and so did the ability to set it as the primary display. Unplugging, has the same issue but with the built in display. I recently re-imaged the deck because I have been distro hopping on it. This is the first time I've been in the desktop mode since re-imaging. It's been working fine in gaming mode for the last few weeks.

I know I should ditch gmail and I'm working on it.

I saw this guy while hiking a few weeks ago.

I might have overcooked this one in darktable lol

I haven't had a great time with Linux on a tablet without a keyboard and mouse but PostmarketOS is 100% usable IMO. Even the on screen keyboard on the login screen works.
