Is that H265 (10-Bit)?

Yes, h.265 x.265 and HEVC are pretty much the same thing.

Also, I have to use a GUI as I don't know how to use the command line version of ffmpeg.

To do any remotely advanced setup you have to add command line switches to your favorite gui anyway, so now's as good a time to learn as any.

Where are you getting "ffmpeg doesn't offer that with AMD Hardware Acceleration" from? It works great. I use it frequently.

Except it isn't a fair comparison. Prince did it because his former record company was trying to keep him from using his actual birth name (his name really was Prince), he was making a stand. Elon on the other hand is just being a chode.

I try to give root at least 200GB, haven't hit the ceiling yet that way. EFI doesn't need much, recovery (timeshift) is optional but recommend, swap is what you make of it. I used to do different partitions for /opt and /var and the like, but with drive sizes today that's unnecessary. The biggest thing I'd recommend is to put /home on a separate drive, ideally root and /home would be on distinct NVME drives.

It's almost like the system they judge by doesn't actually work at scale. 🤔

It would give a whole new depth to "put it in some rice".

Rice has neuroengineers? And here I was cooking it and eating it as a side dish. Now to take over the world!

It's a multidimensional egg.

None. Remember the saying about eggs and baskets.

But I delete my history every 1 week instead of every 3 months. So they don't get much from my choices.

Implying that deleting them from your view actually deleted them.
