This film was referencing it's own world too much it felt like sitting with a self-absorbed prick for a more than a couple of beers!

I say this. Succession is truly the only show that comes any close to the realism and impact of The Wire.
No one votes for someone to be a president for 4 years thinking it's just temporary.
