Nobody is better off with any overlord, that's why we've spent so much effort trying to invent satisfying and effective governance.

While this isn't so serious and is genuinely a shower thought, this is the lazy "I am deluded that different = maybe better" thought process that actively ruins the world, so please put more effort into wanting the world to be something else or focus on something you can.
