Overall gaming share is 4%? I think you mean useragents account for about 4% of website traffic at measured points- which is not indicative of anything because my crawler also pretends to be things it isn't.

I blocked lemmy.ml, hexbear and 'Lefty Memes' on this instance. All of those posts disappeared. I swear it's like the same 10 people just spamming it.

Boss calls me (the sole on-site IT person) on a sickday and tells me something important broke and I need to come and fix it (45 minute bus ride one-way). I know exactly what broke and I tell her if she goes into my office and turn my computer on then I can remote in and fix it in literally 5 seconds. She nearly screams at me saying that my contract doesn't allow remote work and I don't remember what exactly was said after this point but it was something along the lines of:

"It won't be fixed for another 5 days then because I'm not coming in today (Thursday, and I don't work Fridays or Mondays)."

"Ok bye"

"bye"

Guess it wasn't important

there actually is a legitimate service that landlords provide.

one I don't want to pay for, but also one they don't actually give me. My apartment is still missing several doors and I've been here for a year now. They don't give a fuck. You're also setting it up as if I have a choice but to be serviced. I don't. I don't earn enough money for my bank to want to give me a loan, even if I wanted to be in debt, to buy even the shittiest house on the market here, so I don't have a choice but to live under the thumb of a landlord.

You might consider me an independent thinker (I shit in the woods)

I am convinced that the bidet shills on reddit are bots. There's just no way that hundreds of thousands of people are suddenly interested in shitting appliances.

In a incredible stroke of irony, you just described the European Union

Clearly taken with a better camera than mine, haha

I was really surprised how visible it was. What latitude was this taken at?

I'm not dodging your point, I'm rejecting it. It's victim blaming. I'm sorry you can't see past your nose, I'm gonna stop replying

Because of THE CAR

THE CAR causes the safety issue

Ma'am

v !!! POST-MIGRATION EDIT !!! v

I shrunk the LVM partition by 5000 MiB and just ran dd overnight. I had to shuffle my boot-order around a bunch to find the one partition that would boot properly but it all just works.

v !!! ORIGINAL POST !!! v

Hi! My Proxmox machine has 3 disks (see pic). I wish to migrate sdc to a 2TB SSD. I have LXCs on all drives and I would really like to avoid having to restart from backups. I don't have any special configuration on my proxmox, it's pretty clean and basic.

Is it safe to simply dd the old disk to the new one? I can't find an explicit answer to this question that doesn't also have a lot of other variables not relevant to me.

If not, what else can I do?

I'm on the edge of hosting my own lemmy instance but I have a problem of the theoretically infinitely ballooning space requirements.

Are there any options for not saving all the federated images locally? I'd settle for a jank solution such as wiping it via cron or similar.

Thank you
