I remember when 2015 was going to be the last election under FPTP 🀦

Now introducing the Q Family and Friends plan. Choose 5 of your closest contacts to have 5ms faster connections for only $500/mo with a tab.

But not all signals were equally effective. Straight-arm signals, pointing left to turn left or extending the right arm to turn right, were almost universally understood. In contrast, fewer than a quarter of drivers correctly interpreted the bent-arm right-turn signal that is still legally recognized in many places. Even the signal used to indicate stopping or slowing, while defined correctly by most drivers, was not the signal many says they would personally use if cycling.

The problem is that for some reason it's taught that cyclists should do all their signalling using the same arm. Like if you want to turn left you point left but if you want to turn right you point up? How does that make any sense. That signal could easily be misinterpreted as a wave or a stop.

Not every World Curling competition has the luxury of a dedicated production crew broadcasting each sheet for every single draw.

As much as I love that airframe, I have to agree. The program was never going to be financially or strategically viable.

The largest blunder of that era was the amount of brain drain as engineers from Avro fled to the US for higher paying jobs.

Unless you're made of solid muscle, you may want to do some self reflection because 120kg at 190cm is pretty well into the range of clinical obesity.

Flavoured coffees smell amazing but I find them nearly undrinkable.

The flavouring completely overwhelms any of the natural notes you get from the beans with the only thing making it through is the bitterness.

I dunno, maybe I just haven't tried the right brand or roast but every time I do I end up regretting it. It has to be cut with cream.

Boeing probably still salty about the A220

Anybody know of a good self-hosting video system I could install to keep tabs on my pets?

Distant Worlds 3 has just started in Elite Dangerous so I think I'll be playing that for some time.

DW3 will take a large group of dedicated explorers across the galaxy which should be a memorable experience for everyone involved.

You get a much wider margin of error brewing 5 gallons in a bucket instead of starting with 1 gallon as a trial.

When I first made mead I just did a 1 gallon batch to see how it worked but that doesn't really leave you with enough of a must to do proper gravity measurements without losing half your yield.
