It wasn't just Governor though, also Lt Gov flipped blue, AG stayed blue, and we flipped enough state seats to blue to break a super majority even with the gerrymandering, and state level Superintendent for Education went blue...

Our current governor, Roy Cooper, is term limited and he couldn't run again. So the current state AG Josh Stein ran (and won)

His opponent (our current Lt Gov) was a man who is um ...interesting. And made national news for um ...interesting things he posted on a porn site. Among other things.

You left out that he was married to Kimberly Guilfoyle

All these are great... I do all except the sleep mask regularly. And I use that sometimes.

Also, for times when I have insomnia - I do take a melatonin, I also will sometimes just sleep when I can, and if that means 2 hours now, up for a while, then sleep 5 hours, then that's what I do. But I have a pretty flexible schedule overall.

Anecdotal, I live in NC and know 3 registered Republicans so far who have cast their votes for Harris, I am "Unaffiliated" and voted for Harris. All of us ended up voting straight Dem on the whole ballot because there is so much crazy on our ballots this year.

The Republicans I know are never Trumpers and just don't want to give up on the fantasy of what they think the party is supposed to be.

I'm Unaffiliated because in NC you can choose which primary you want to vote when you show up. And sometimes I feel like I can do more good voting in the Republican primary, but other years have voted in the Dem primary.

My point, I'm hoping so hard there are a lot of Rino's and Unaffiliated early voting Harris, Stein, Jackson.

Can't the girls and their families sue, or get a restraining order or something?

This is something that is an easily proven lie that is causing harm.

I feel like your comment is the real reason. Why wouldn't we believe the maga people even they say they want to arrest and execute? The left may not literally exist if certain people follow through on their rhetoric.

I currently have 130+ tabs open in Firefox and 90+ in Chrome in addition to some other programs open and running (libreOffice, vpn, and others) Everything is working fine on my old laptop with an i5 processor and 16G ram and windows 10, ssd hd

I can't really game on this, and trying to run a virtual machine is a slog.

But VS Code, database, xshell, calibre, audacity, photopea, even basic video editing all run fine. Granted I usually do one project at a time, so I'm not using VS Code and editing videos at the same time.

The browser tabs are usually always open. Oh, and I actually just cleaned up my tabs. There were a lot more..

I feel like the memory issues are mostly worked out now for most of us.

We got some rechargeable motion activated lights. I love-love them. They last a long time. Less tripping over sleeping pets trying to go to the bathroom. Yes, I could turn a light on, but I don't want to be blinded, half asleep, and used to just shuffle in the dark. Plus when the power goes out, these still work, which is a bonus.
