I also use HA. I’ve been using the Dahua integration in HACS since the Amcrest integration was lacking for the doorbell. Specifically, there was no way to trigger automations when the doorbell is pressed. However, in looking at the documentation I now see a way to monitor via the Amcrest integration. I may give that a go.

4 2K cameras running in an RPi 4 container. I do have a coral TPU so that helps offload a great deal of the processing. Runs great! I use the add on HA for the integration only.

You’re in a desert walking along in the sand when all of the sudden you look down, and you see a tortoise, it’s crawling toward you. You reach down, you flip the tortoise over on its back.
