This is my biggest lament about getting a 2060 without knowing how important vram is. I can make it perform better and more efficiently a bunch of different ways, but to my knowledge, I can't get around the 6GB vram wall.

but all of us know that it’s just not gonna happen.
Certainly not by Bethesda, but in truly typical fashion, Bethesda games are are held together and made fun by modders (and sometimes, even fully built, as is the case with Enderal). Only trouble is that can take a wild and/or completely unknown amount of time.
Said it before and I'll say it again: It's crazy to me that tone centric fonts never happened. Tone is wildly important in all language, but there's basically no good way to convey tone via text without stating the tone like some Newspeak shit. Meanwhile, we have all these rad fonts just hanging out on the proverbial bench, going totally unused, but I'm cursed to see and use exclusively good Times New Roman, plusgood Helvetica, and doubleplusgood Arial. Literally 1984.
/hyperbole (but I really do think it would be a fun idea and I demand a hyperbole font).
To quote alice in wonderland:
"How long is forever?"
"Sometimes, just one second"
Hey, dunno if you figured it out yet, but creating folders is done in the pear launcher settings (I get to the settings by a "pear actions" widget set to pear settings). From there, it's app drawer > folders > then you can make new folders and add stuff to them.
To the best of my knowledge, Pear Launcher can do everything you're asking for. I haven't used nova in a while, but from what I recall of it, the free version of pear launcher is far more feature rich than nova.
I've always been good at basic math (up to and including highschool ball-park algebra) on an intuitive level, to a degree that was so wildly unhelpful and didn't align at all with my schooling experience. Did extremely well in elementary and most middle school math, but in 8th grade algebra is where it really started to cause issues. We'd have a new concept shown in the form of equations and I'd always arrive at an answer by just plugging in numbers and solving it in my head until I honed in on the right answer (essentially just brute-forcing a correct answer).
Of course this didn't work in that class, because the teacher wanted me to "show my work", and wouldn't accept an answer of "I just did it in my head" or "I looked for an answer in my head and found it". I eventually learned what "show your work" really meant (show the step by step algebraic process that the teacher wants you to do), but I pick up on that until long after I'd given up on highschool (I was forced to retake algebra in 9th grade, and then put into a lower math class in 10th, and by that point, I just stopped going to math class entirely).
Fun fact, I got suspended from school a couple times for skipping class. The process was basically this:
-
Skip class
-
Be assigned detention for skipping class
-
Skip class again when they were going to tell me I had detention
-
Skip detention that I was never informed of
-
Assigned, but never informed of, double detention
-
Skip detention that I was still never informed of
-
Suspended from school (still never informed of)
-
Have a teacher see me on campus and tell me I'm suspended and need to leave school grounds (which is the first I heard of any of it)
School system at its finest, y'all. Skip class enough and they punish you by saying you're not allowed to go to class.
Protip: set up a macro to type out site:reddit.com if you can't be fucked to type after every search.
First I'm hearing of Tiny10 and starting to consider my options for jumping ship on windows. Anyone willing to give a short rundown/ weigh their opinions of linux/windows/other OSes. Video games are the main factor for me, with user control a very close second.
Oh, fuck yeah. I remember it using nvidia shield, and I haven't bothered with seeing if it works outside of geforce since I dropped that (fuck geforce lol). Glad to hear there's an open source alternative.
Dunno if I'm misunderstanding you or you're misunderstanding the person you replied to, but Notepad++ is a third party program unaffiliated with windows or notepad. It's also an astronomical step up from notepad and it's free and has optional plugins and whatnot.
