I'm not reading your thesis on cave woman gang bangs. Hopefully someone else will engage you on this topic further.

Eta; And lemme just say, the idea that "more evidence should be gathered" demands that you need to specify exactly how you want to gather said evidence. Which requires treating human women as animals to be studied. It's absolutely ridiculous at best and psycho at worst.

Bro your hypothesis is "I feel like it" and your evidence is "You can't prove it's not true" and that's just not how science works.

What we have is evidence (see your damn link to wikipedia) in non-human primates and the "I'm making a sound now to indicate that you should ejaculated for maximum likelihood of impregnation" is pretty solid stuff. There's talk of encouraging fights for better mate selection. What there isn't is talk of "I am doing a sex, please join the train being run on me" no matter how much you feel like it's a valid theory.

Dude you extrapolated some crazy stuff about cave woman orgies that are in no way supported by this link.

Thank you for posting this. I knew a woman's orgasm had a purpose in insemination but vocalizations indicating the best time for male ejaculation makes sense.

And about a billion times more sense than some of the nonsense posted in this thread.

Right? What evidence?

"The evidence being that it makes my pants feel funny when I think about it." - Some scientist, probably

Holy shit. It's been so long since I thought of them.

Big "bUt ThErE aRe ChIlDrEn StArViNg In AfRiCa" energy. How dare someone complain when things could be worse, right? What an ungrateful dick for wanting better just because the previous generation had that, huh?

This is it. This is the crossover I didn't know I've been waiting for.

I always thought we really missed out on a chance for there to be a more intense overwriting of Ezra with Jadzia, or one of the other hosts. She seemed so meek! Give me a St. Alia situation, where the current host can't stand against the memories of previous ones, and make it more compelling than taboos and stuff!

This gave me many giggles.

I have to agree to disagree.

I often do find myself more likely to talk about gender specific issues when I know that the space I'm in will make an effort to exclude those people who don't understand that some topics aren't for them. I have seen, time and again, how any topic focusing on the issues of a specific gender will bring out hordes of people to scream about how this exclusion is somehow evil or wrong just because it excludes them.

Gender specific conversations draw out trolls like nothing else.

Take some time for you.

I've lost a lot of people. A lot of friends. And you're right, the internet is full of angry people who just want to be angry, but moreover, it's chaotic and unpredictable. It sounds like you can use some extra grace, some extra protection, and some extra kindness. You would give it to anyone else in your position, so it's the least you can do for you.

We haven't really met, but don't become a statistic. There's not many of us left who made it. Each time we lose one more, that means those of us left have that much more to work for, but what we work for becomes that much more precious.

The world can handle itself for a couple days. Rest and regroup. Everything will still be there when you're ready for it (if you ever are!)
