Yeah true, but if you use macOS expecting Linux that doesn’t make any sense. Then it’d just be Linux with a different DE lol. Hopefully doesn’t come across as snarky but pointing these differences out always seems rather pointless to me, they do exist but I mean yeah it’s not the same os.

Where’d you find it?

The Q2 is definitely something I’m considering how’s the volume and such?

I like the idea but I’m not sure that it’s there for value. Maybe my second printer? Plus idk where to source the 3d printed bits

I’ve heard snapmaker as a brand has been unreliable is that something I could solve with klipper? Otherwise the Anycubic is also a cheaper option between the two it seems

Have you tried any mods like a different fan or 3d prints to reduce noise? Curious if those affect the sound

I’ve been wanting to get a 3d printer for a while and now I’m starting to finally look at getting one. It seems like in general though finding clear reviews and knowledge on printers is much harder than other things but maybe that’s because I’m not in the hobby yet. Bambu is a no from me but I’m open to other options. I was kinda looking at he centauri carbon but I’ve heard it’s pretty loud and I live in a small apartment. The Prusa Core One seems like a decent option but it’s all quite expensive so I don’t wanna save up for that unless it really is the best option and there’s nothing reasonable cheaper. What’s everyone’s thoughts? Absolute max budget is $1k but I would strongly prefer to spend something ~$500 or less

This would be quite cool if this passed around every social media platform lol

I don’t have an explicit config file no, I don’t remember needing it before though. I’ve followed the steps https://docs.gitea.com/installation/install-with-docker which worked with gitea but doesn’t work with forgejo. I didn’t see anything that mentioned needing a config for the first method listed there at least. I suppose I could try some of the other methods listed there but I liked option A the best generally.

Logs for what the container?

[–] galaxy_nova@lemmy.world 1 points 2 weeks ago

I did check that first after a lot of googling and I think everything is all set there

So I initially had been using gitea. It took me a while to get ssh to work properly but then it did. Then I learned of forgejo and decided to go full foss. Only problem is that i cant get ssh to work for the life of me. Here’s my setup

  • Forgejo is in a docker compose file in which I’ve setup a docker network
  • My ssh port for my server is not 22
  • I followed the gitea sshing shim directions I used previously to a T and couldn’t get any sort of anything to work

My best guess is there’s some base configuration difference between the two that I don’t know of that maybe somebody here can point out for me. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
