why hardware kill switch? with Linux u can disable them and unload the associated kernel modules. is that not good enough for u?

I used seafile in the past. but I abandoned it for syncing. might help your use case ...

normally when they say slashing throat, I assume death. looks like the girl was ok though cause she ran home to get help

please mirror to codeberg. (or move completely to codeberg). they are more in line with your mission.

yep. why are they opposing fact checking in the first place? no one should be able to lie unchecked to dupe voters

the content of Vance's lies are really really scary. not to mention his damned non answer

[–] gi1242@lemmy.world 44 points 2 weeks ago (2 children)

you're totally right on this. I'm surprised walz didn't say more than "that was fact checked and found to be false". explain that abortions don't happen after live birth! call out the lies.

vance did a total 180 on many things while looking directly at the camera. he's a sociopath. he scares me... he's smart and doesn't care about anything other than personal gain.

Tallies:

Vance: * 7 False / mostly false. * 1 half true * 0 true/mostly true

Walz: * 2 False * 5 true

so one thing I never got when. I was watching robocop was the danger of having mega corporations owning public services. I never gave it a second thought, and liked robocop cause hey robot cop action 😃

now we are living in a reality where billionaires and mega corporations own public services. it's scary

I use syncthing for this purpose all the time. I seemlessly move from my work PC, home PC or laptop. I sync my data directories and most of my config settings. some are different per system (monitors, etc). 10/10 highly recommend

honestly they are all pretty good at this point. start with the default ur distro supports. if that isn't to your taste try kde/plasma, gnome or lxde
