I use an encrypted offline raid at home and encrypted cloud storage that automatically backs up. My phone is basically empty, plenty of room to accidentally record 40 gb+

My kid has a phone, their user doesn't have app installation permissions at all and app store is hidden

US troops are disproportionately middle class. Full article is on scidb if you wanna read the whole thing. But here is the important part:

We show that recent recruits tend to have higher than average socioeconomic background: they dispro- portionally come from the middle of the family income, family wealth, and cognitive skill distributions, with both tails under-represented

Also they are not doing this to distract from Epstein. The rich got away with that, we have not taken out any of them in retaliation. We're not even protecting kids from troops at Ft Brag. We don't care enough to stop them, they can do whatever they want until we hit our breaking point. Just shitty to know that pedos running concentration camps for kids is not our breaking point

Sending people off to kill and die so that rich pedos can make more money is not love

Seems like currently the plan is to clog the plumbing on the ships so they have to return home for repairs. How long until they resort to fragging again?

[–] gnuthing@lemmygrad.ml 5 points 3 days ago

How will this affect enterprise systems with remote installs or ramdisks?

Meshtastic uses LoRa, so slow speeds but far distance. A better choice is reticulum, this combines LoRa, Wifi HaLow, Wifi 2.4 & 5 GHz and BLE together into one network stack. So in a city we could have faster data speeds all sharing WiFi and rural areas that currently need satellite we could have a connection over far distances wirelessly. Reticulum is also encrypted, meshtastic is not

You do know that ICE existed under Biden & Obama? That their ICE was also hunting down people? That democrats were separating families and had huge outdoor camps and had kids in cages? That ICE agents have been raping people held in their facilities since at least 2007? That ICE was been detaining citizens way before now (one guy couldn't even get damages for wrongful imprisonment because he was wrongly detained so long that the statute of limitations passed, this was under Obama https://slate.com/news-and-politics/2017/08/ice-detained-a-u-s-citizen-named-davino-watson-for-three-years.html)? Only difference between red & blue ICE is the amount of hubbub it makes for white folks

Also Biden's & Obama's FBI didn't arrest Epstein. I could say Clinton's too but we already know why

And here I don't let my kids access the internet at all without a VPN

I bought mine refurbished for like $150. Now Google isn't making money off me by selling my data. It is also possible to build it though, it's open source, so put it on whatever you want

If you don't wanna use a pixel, just build it. It's open source ¯_(ツ)_/¯

PS: I'm leaning towards "don't say anything you wouldn't in a court of law" model these days. If its online - and you don't own the infra - there's always a risk.

You should assume everything you say online is being captured by govts. Encrypt everything you can, use a no log VPN not based in 15 eyes, use OS and browser with sandboxes/containers
