I would want to research before saying for certain. But I think so.

I think the employers underestmaite how poorly they're treating their employees while making record profits. Most of the point of unions is to fight unadulterated greed and force employers to share the wealth with employees. If employees can't afford basics like rent and food then employers are gonna have a bad time. The wise employer would pay attention to how employees are doing and do their best to take care of them instead of laughing all the way to the bank.

These unions are working exactly as designed.

Apparently "smartness" has not invaded projectors...per a comment I read here on kbin a while back from a projector owner. This really encourages me to buy one.

I (almost) always tip in cash. I hope this lowers the chance that an employer can intercept it.

This is how it always should be. There is no good reason for employers to pay less if someone makes tips. It is stealing...whatever the law says.
