Pretty sure a tip intended for an employee going to the employer is illegal. Employers cannot keep tips.

I don't know all the uses for satellites but is it possible to reduce the number of them by coordinating efforts? Combine these 3 into 1? Can we be more intelligent about it?

There are a lot of cultural things to learn from Hollywood, but very little actual academic content comes out of Hollywood. If any.

Add public TV to that mix and the academic content level goes WAY up. I don't think of public TV as Hollywood so I'm unsure if OP is including it.

Seems that youtube has much more content that I would call educational. I would go there for an education before Hollywood.

People that get tips should make at least minimum wage like everyone else. The employer should not get to pay less because someone gets a tip.

I always try to tip in cash. First so the person getting the tip can decide if they want to declare it as income. Second so it goes where I intend it to go.

20% is a good tip. More is not necessary.

I always decline tipping on the screens.

Never pre-tip. Tipping should always happen after service. You won't get a refund on that tip if the service is bad.

Edit: A word

Um. Are you sure that's safe?

Walked right into that one, Janeway.

Location is turned off on my phone.

I'm well aware that "the authorities" can still location track my phone. Not much I can do about that, frankly. And I'm not sure they care much about me. But Scamazon and Screwgle and CrApple and whoever cannot. Which is the point.

Most of the time I figure out my directions before I leave the house. I do use a map app without location services. So it's pretty much a virtual paper map, which is still useful.

I do also have paper maps, but rarely use them.

I think it is just a matter of time for the disturbing stuff to circulate. If people can create their darkest desires they will.

Then cue debates and political campaigns about AI in general and if we should allow anyone or anything to create depraved images, pronographic or not.

Let's be real. This holodeck would in reality be used about 90% for fucking NOT rap battles.

Would YOU pass up the chance to fuck the most beautiful people in history?

This matches my understanding. Dryer sheets are fabric softener that works in your dryer and they also reduce static electricity.

You can remove static electricity from clothes via contact with bare metal. I use a metal clothes hanger because it is a convienient shape/size but any metal will work. I thought about removing paint from the front of my dryer and rubbing clothes on that. Or use bare electrical wire which you could connect to ground in an outlet.
