You can have two active eSIMs and an empty physical slot. You'll get both lines active at the same time.
The gist of it is, TWO active lines (at most) at the same time. You can mix and match eSIMs with physical ones any way you want.
I have 3 eSIMs registered on my Pixel 7 Pro at the moment, works fine.
Just keep in mind that most phones only support at most two lines to be active at the same time.
But you can store as many eSIMs as you want* and toggle them on/off according to your needs.
- quite sure there's a limit but it should be high enough to be irrelevant for most users
A couple of my iPhone-using family members reported that they stopped getting notifications from Signal because they used it so infrequently that iOS basically disabled it

So what? Of absurdly the whole user base of Spotify got into white noise overnight and ditched music and voice podcasts, where's the problem?
Users still pay for the premium/family subscriptions, and it's only fair that creators of the content most listened to are rewarded proportionally.

Recent events only confirmed that my choice was right.
I unsubbed from MKBHD as well a while ago, I'm not at ease with YouTubers becoming corporations (or getting close to).
Not author of the comment here, but I've lived in Italy and France and also never had a full month off since my school days.
But it's because of my personal choice to avoid spending all my unpaid leave in one go (and in the most expensive and crowded time of the year, too). Not for the lack of that possibility.
