It's shocking how much bare minimum work happens, or how much tossing over the fence and "yeah we're aware we'll fix it later" style approaches happen at my job. We can't hire the right level of expertise because we won't pay for it. I've got a foot out the door and it really doesn't matter where I go because it will be a raise for the same stupid kind of environment, but at least it'll be a raise.

I've even got a black friend!

I started playing the Outer Worlds thinking I had simply misheard the name Outer Wilds and found myself very confused but still kept trudging on. Thank you for bringing some sanity into my life; Wilds seems like the game I wanted to play the whole time, not Worlds. I'll see how chaotic I can fuck out Worlds before I ditch it for Wilds.

I have no issue with this. Games don't need to be perfect. I like some jank.

Stability diffusion is open source. You can run local instances with provided and free training sets to query against and generate your own outputs.

They're not gatekeeping llms though, there are publicly available models and data sets.

Sync is the most polished and best looking. But ads so I dunno your call. I like it.

You need Obsidian sync for that. It works awesome. It's not free.

From my brief stint with pop os on my laptop I'm having a hard time seeing the difference with a MacBook for daily things. Things just work.

Disagreed. This is not an absolute truth.
