Both DE have different targets. Gnome takes a bit more time for development. They are both great projects.

Just use Linux. Its manageable to do it through windows but youre only using like 10% of Linux Power.

With this last merge you can start playing already. Except for shooters, there are a few more merges left to fix the edge cases. Around 4 or 5 merge requests

Fixed. Not backported since it requires a QT update. Fix is coming with Plasma 6. https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=446674
