I wouldn't use them in very physically active scenarios (like the gym, or running) I prefer more standard bluetooth for convenience (wireless), and my Blons are definitely too fragile and separate from the cords too easily to leave the house too much. But more "sturdy" IEM's I do use at work, or if I'm listening to music while grocery shopping alone, etc. My preference is not to use noise-cancelling headphones of any form factor if I'm walking or cycling in traffic etc though for safety reasons.
